Cleary's first book "Henry Higgins" was published in 1950. She wrote eight books featuring Ramona and 43 books in all.
 
Jessica Walter dies at 80
 Jessica Walter of "Arrested Development" passed away in her sleep.  Jessica won an Emmy for her role in the police drama "Amy Prentiss" in the 1970s.
 
NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament starts first round
All the tournament games will be played in Indianapolis this year as a COVID related precaution. Final qualifying games (called the "First Four") were completed on Thursday 3/20.
 
Grammys 2021: Blue Ivy, Megan Thee Stallion win
9-year-old Blue Ivy is the second-youngest artist to win a Grammy. Other honors included Kanye West for best contemporary Christian music album, Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande for best pop duo performance, Harry Styles was awarded for his pop solo performance for "Watermelon Sugar.", while John Legend won best R&B album and Miranda Lambert's "Wildcard" was named best country album.
 
Drew Brees announces his retirement
In a video message on his Instagram account, he said,"I am only retiring from playing football, I am not retiring from New Orleans. This is not goodbye, rather a new beginning. Now my real life‘s work begins!" Brees leaves the league as its all-time leading passer.
