The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has clarified that Thailand will continue to welcome all international tourists under the fully Reopen-to-Tourism policy, introduced on October 1st, 2022.
The announcement was made days after the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) announced new entry requirements for international passengers.
CAAT announced seven measures for inter-flight passengers entering Thailand.
Thailand’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Public Health Anutin Charnvirakul confirmed that “international travelers arriving in Thailand are not required to show proof of vaccination.”
Now, only visitors coming from or going to countries that require an RT-PCR test are required to have health insurance that covers Covid-19 treatment costs in Thailand.
As part of the full reopening to tourism process, Thailand is also offering a longer period of stay for prospective visitors.
