Police arrest a man in connection with 12-year-old’s kidnapping in AL

The Facts

On Monday, the police found a 12-year-old kidnapped girl walking along a rural road near Dadeville; the girl had escaped the abductor’s house after being held captive for a week.
According to the police, the 12-year-old “had broken braces from chewing out of her restraints.” Officials noted that the girl was now in state custody.
The girl also led police officials back to the kidnapper’s mobile home, where they discovered two decomposing bodies. Authorities said the deceased victims included a 34-year-old female and a male minor.
On Tuesday, Tallapoosa County Sheriff’s Department announced they had arrested Jose Pascual-Reyes, 37, in connection to the crimes.
On Wednesday, criminal complaints were filed against Pascual-Reyes, charging him with kidnapping, two counts of murder, and two counts of corpse abuse.
