First Lady Jill Biden has tested positive for COVID-19; she has been prescribed a course of Paxlovid and will now isolate herself from others for at least five days.
The First Lady’s Communications Director, Elizabeth Alexander, revealed that FLOTUS had tested negative for COVID-19 on Monday but had later developed “cold-like symptoms.”
Subsequently, FLOTUS tested negative by means of a rapid antigen test but tested positive on a PCR test.
According to Alexander, Jill Biden is double-vaccinated, has received two booster doses, and is experiencing mild symptoms.
Alexander stated, “(FLOTUS) is currently staying at a private residence in South Carolina and will return home after she receives two consecutive negative COVID tests.”
