Russian-born tennis player Natela Dzalamidze has changed her nationality to play at Wimbledon.
On Monday, the Women’s Tennis Association confirmed that Dzalamidze is now a Georgian citizen.
Dzalamidze, 29, is currently 43rd in the women’s standings worldwide.
Wimbledon had banned Russian and Belarusian players from competing earlier this year following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
Dzalamidze’s change of citizenship allows her to compete at the All England Club in Wimbledon.
