The Facts
Vice-Chair Liz Cheney laid out a seven-point plan for how the Jan 6th panel will publicly show Trump tried to overturn the 2020 election.
Cheney stated, “President Trump summoned the mob, assembled the mob, and lit the flame.”
The last hearing will center on Trump’s specific actions as the violence was underway at the Capitol on January 6th.
The plan included the following accusations: Trump spread false information about the 2020 elections, Trump tried to install loyalists at the DOJ, Trump pressured VP Pence, Trump urged officials to change election results.
Trump has also been accused of summoning the assembled mob in DC and directing them to march on the Capitol.
