The Facts

A judge ruled Friday blocking President Biden’s administration from lifting a policy allowing migrants to be expelled at the border over concerns about spreading Covid.
Governor Greg Abbott had earlier tweeted, “President Biden’s decision to end Title 42 expulsions is only going to make his border crisis worse.”
A White House statement says the administration disagrees with the court’s ruling but will continue to enforce Title 42 pending an appeal.
The Department of Justice intends to appeal the court’s decision.
Former Vice President of the US, Mike Pence, tweeted, “Grateful to US Judge Robert Summerhays for blocking the Biden Administration from ending Title 42 and making the worst Border Crisis in American history even worse.”
