The Facts
Mass tests in Shanghai have found Covid-19 rampant among family members in cloistered locked-down homes.
According to the National Health Commission (NHC)’s report on April 15th, “The Chinese mainland on April 14 reported 3,472 locally-transmitted confirmed COVID-19 cases, of which 3,200 were in Shanghai.”
The Chinese Vice-Premier Sun Chunlan is stationed in Shanghai from April 2nd to supervise the anti-pandemic measures.
The Shanghai government is advocating strict measures to achieve the zero-Covid goal.
Shanghai is yet to announce any schedule for lifting the city-wide lockdown.
