White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki has tested positive for Covid-19 – This is the second time she has tested positive.
Psaki will now not be traveling to Europe with the President.
Psaki tweeted, “I had two socially-distanced meetings with the President yesterday, and he is not considered a close contact as defined by CDC guidance. I am sharing the news of my positive test today out of an abundance of transparency. The President tested negative today via PCR test.”
Former Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, has also tested positive for Covid-19.
Clinton tweeted, “Well, I’ve tested positive for COVID. I’ve got some mild cold symptoms but am feeling fine. I’m more grateful than ever for the protection vaccines can provide against serious illness. Please get vaccinated and boosted if you haven’t already!”
