Where: United States
The Facts
On March 30th, the Biden administration launched COVID.gov – a new “one-stop shop website” with the latest COVID-19 information, including details regarding vaccines, treatments, etc.
According to the White House, the website will “help all people in the United States gain even better access to lifesaving tools… as well as get the latest updates on COVID-19 in their area.”
President Joe Biden noted that people in the US could use the website to access information to “navigate the (corona) virus,” including details on free vaccines, boosters, at-home tests, and high-quality masks.
The website also includes a new “Test-to-Treat locator” feature, which will help citizens access pharmacies and health centers across the US, enabling them to get tested for COVID-19 and receive the appropriate treatments accordingly.
While announcing the launch of COVID.gov, President Biden urged Congress to urgently provide the funding necessary for the US to continue to combat COVID-19.
