The Facts
On Tuesday, Sir Elton John announced that he had contracted COVID-19. The English singer is currently on his final tour, titled “Farewell Yellow Brick Road.”
John informed his fans through his Instagram story (on @eltonjohn) that his team would have to reschedule his Dallas shows and that new dates would be shared soon.
Elton John stated, “It’s always a massive disappointment to move shows, and I’m so sorry to anyone who’s been inconvenienced by this, but I want to keep myself and my team safe.”
John noted that he was fully vaccinated, had received his booster shot, and was experiencing mild symptoms.
The singer added that he expected to perform at his upcoming shows in Arkansas as scheduled.
