On January 13th, the Department of Justice (DOJ) announced that 11 individuals had been indicted for seditious conspiracy, along with additional charges for crimes related to the 2021 Capitol attack.

Two of the 11 indicted individuals – Elmer Stewart Rhodes III and Edward Vallejo – are being charged for the first time in connection with events surrounding the Capitol attack.
