The Facts
White House press secretary Jen Psaki said she has tested positive for Covid-19 and is experiencing mild symptoms.
Psaki did not travel with the President to Rome for the G20 summit or the Glasgow summit.
She decided not to travel on the foreign trip with the President due to her household members testing positive for Covid-19.
On Tuesday, Psaki last saw the President when they sat outside at least six feet apart, wearing masks.
Psaki stated, “I will plan to return to work in person at the conclusion of the ten-day quarantine following a negative rapid test, which is an additional White House requirement, beyond CDC guidance, taken out of an abundance of caution.”
