Polish forces have used water cannons and tear gas in an attempt to deter migrants from attempting to cross over the border from Belarus.
The migrants were reported to have been hurling stones and other projectiles at Polish forces guarding the border crossing.
Thousands of migrants have been lining the Belarussian border with the European Union for weeks trying to cross over.
Belarus has been accused of pushing migrants into the EU to destabilize the region following sanctions by the EU and the US but denies the charge.
Polish Border Guard spokeswoman, Anna Michalska, said that while some 2000 migrants were in makeshift camps near the border, only about 100 attacked Polish forces at the crossing near Kuznica.
