President Biden is not likely to invoke executive privilege to shield any White House Trump records from the January 6th investigation.

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki stated, “The president has already concluded that it would not be appropriate to assert executive privilege.”

The Trump administration has not contacted the White House about protecting any records.

The US House Select Committee investigating the January riot has subpoenaed four members of Trump’s administration.

Former President Trump stated, “We will fight the subpoenas on executive privilege and other grounds, for the good of our country.”
