On September 9th, President Joe Biden announced his six-pronged plan to combat the spread of COVID-19 and boost vaccinations in the country.

Biden signed two separate Executive Orders requiring federal employees and federal contractors & their workforce to be vaccinated against COVID-19.

Biden announced that the Transportation Safety Administration would double fines for travelers that refuse to mask.

Further, Biden said that the Department of Labor is working on an emergency rule requiring employers with 100 or more workers to ensure that their employees are either fully vaccinated or show weekly negative test reports.

Biden stated, “This is not about freedom or personal choice. It’s about protecting yourself and those around you, the people you work with, the people you care about, the people you love. My job as president is to protect all Americans.”
