The Facts

A rally protesting the prosecution of hundreds of people charged in the January 6th riot ended peacefully.

The rally ended within 90 minutes of beginning in Union Square, a small park close to the Capitol.

An estimated 400-450 people were inside the protest area – police presence had been stepped up.

Matt Braynard, executive director of Look Ahead America and the organizer of the event, tweeted, “JusticeforJ6 is a 100% peaceful event in support of the nonviolent offenders from January 6th who have been charged.”

Neither former President Trump nor any Republican official attended the protest in Washington, DC.
