▪ On Friday, the Pentagon stated it was canceling the construction of parts of the border wall funded by the military.
▪ Previously, on January 20, President Biden ordered a pause on border wall projects and asking for a careful review of all resources appropriated to construct a southern border wall.
▪ A deputy Pentagon spokesman Jamal Brown said, “The Department of Defense is proceeding with canceling all border barrier construction projects paid for with funds originally intended for other military missions and functions.”
