Biden asks Intelligence Community to probe Covid origin

▪ The US Intelligence Community has not reached a definitive conclusion about whether Covid-19 emerged from human contact with an infected animal or a laboratory accident.

▪ President Biden stated, “I have now asked the Intelligence Community to redouble their efforts to collect and analyze information that could bring us closer to a definitive conclusion, and to report back to me in 90 days.”

▪ The US intends to press China to co-operate in a transparent, evidence-based investigation.

▪ On submission of the report of the WHO international team on the origin of the Covid-19 virus, WHO Director-General, Dr. Tedros Ghebreyesus, stated, “As far as WHO is concerned, all hypotheses remain on the table. This report is a very important beginning, but it is not the end.”

▪ The Wall Street Journal reported three researchers falling sick with Covid-like symptoms before the outbreak of Covid.
